Russell Brand, obnoxious, always on brand, gnawed into Emily Blunt’s story about swimming with dolphins on ” The Graham Norton Show” and wouldn’t let go. She was describing a close encounter she had with a 6-foot-long shark. Brand breaks in dismissively. “It’s just a type of fish.”
Blunt, frustrated, tells him to stop diminishing her story. “I went near a fish,” he doesn’t stop. Interrupting her again, laughing, he continues mocking her, “I was near a fish once.” Fair is fair once we find out that she embarrassed Brand backstage by ridiculing his Velcro belt.
