Jay Leno didn’t start the long-lasting feud between the two late-night show hosts, but he shifted it into high gear when he declared that Jimmy Kimmel has a “mean streak” and “that’s the reason he’s in third place” (in the ratings). Ouch!
The feud was lit with a Leno impression. Jimmy Kimmel mocked Leno relentlessly for an entire episode of ” The Jimmy Kimmel Show.” Leno told the “Today” show that he never had any problems with Kimmel. In 2017, the feud ended. Kimmel’s newborn needed open-heart surgery, and Leno called to wish him the best.
