Rollerball
Another remake, other terrible Rotten Tomatoes score. Rollerball was released in 2002 and earned a tomato meter score of three percent. The new version took itself too seriously, and despite an all-star cast fell flat. Critics didn’t know what to make of Rollerball, which seemed to just exist without any real reason, “Removing the social critique of the original, this updated version of Rollerball is violent, confusing, and choppy. Klein makes for a bland hero.”
