Her dance captain Ashley McEverett, who’s been with Bey for over a decade, told Metro UK that rehearsals can go on for three months — and that they never nail the routine the first time. Beyonce is intense, but she’s not heartless — in fact, she once allowed a performance of “Single Ladies” to be completely disrupted mid-song for McEverett personal reasons. McEverett’s boyfriend came up on stage and, as the lyrics suggest, he “put a ring on it.”
