Wombats are common in some zoological gardens and parks around the world. Many have heard of a wombat, but they do not know much about this lovely species. Wombats share some characteristics with rodents. The body makeup is hairy and the face has some similarities with that of the mouse. It can grow as high as 1 meter — quite bigger than many expected, and it can weigh up to 77 lbs.
