Groundhog Day
We sincerely hope you don’t need us to explain the plot of Groundhog Day to you. Suffice to say that a jaded TV weatherman learns about compassion and love by entering into a time loop and going to a really dark place.
It’s one of Bill Murray’s finest roles. Decidedly less fine is the extra playing the restaurant in this scene.
After taking the table’s order, she puts her hand on the elderly man’s shoulder – for some reason – and walks off. But check this – she left some schmutz on him! That’s the opposite of what servers are supposed to do!
