Size Does Not Matter For This Deadly Jellyfish

The Irukandji jellyfish is a tiny sea creature and is only around 1 cubic centimeter in length, yet it is one of the deadliest creatures on Earth. It inhabits the waters of the Northern Territory of Australia. They can also fire venom-filled stingers from tentacles all over their bodies, directly into their prey.

The sting is very severe and often fatal, causing brain haemorrhages in minutes. Its venom is powerful, around 100 times more potent than a cobra’s venom.
