Smells Good
One of the first things you notice when you walk into Disney World and Disneyland – apart from the fact that it’s the most magical place in the world – is that it smells absolutely divine. No matter where you turn, a sweet scent follows you, and most of the time, you can’t even work out where it’s coming from.
If you have scratched your head and tried to follow this scent, you may have come to a dead end. That’s because this is actually just a trick that Walt Disney came up with, to inspire a sense of nostalgia within the guests who make their way through the park gates.
To keep the parks smelling like popcorn throughout the day, Smellitzer machines are used, and the scent of these baked goods are then pumped through the vents all day, every day.
