The popular American actress became known for her portrayal of Audrey Griswold in the comedy film, National Lampoon’s European Vacation, in 1985. Ever since she was a child, she suffered from Type 1 Diabetes and the disease was eventually the trigger that led to her death at only 32 years of age.
