Richard Attenborough was an actor, director, and producer who held the position of President at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art and will always be remembered for his roles in The Great Escape, The Sand Pebbles, Jurassic Park, and Miracle on 34th Street. He suffered from heart problems and a stroke back in 2008 and due to his age and deteriorating health, he passed away on August 24, 2014.
