Marilyn Monroe, whose real name is Norma Jeane Baker, was the most famous sex symbol of her time. She was also the woman that every man wanted to date and every woman secretly wished they were. Back in the 50s, being a sex symbol was incredibly forbidden, but Monroe embraced her title completely, as seen in the photo above.
