Traveling Elephants
As far as land mammals go, elephants are the biggest. Elephants have no natural enemies save for lions, who are the only large cats capable of killing them. Although, even then, a single lion would be insufficient. They are surprisingly gentle for their size.
A great need for self-defense is necessary before they will act aggressively. When elephants migrated through the Chatra district, locals knew to expect them. One of the elephants, though, was behaving strangely, and they picked up on it.
