Water On The Plane
We’ve all seen the signs in airplane lavatories: “Do NOT drink the tap water!” Sure, that makes sense – keeping water tanks full of water for toilets and sinks is one thing, but keeping them clean enough to be used as drinking water is another. But the water stewards serve you for coffee or tea is okay… isn’t it?
Well, it turns out – you might want to put off your cup of joe until you land at your destination. While the drinking water tanks are cleaned, they’re not cleaned very often. Best to stick with the bottled and canned stuff if you can.
