Being Careful
With heightened senses and a cautious stride, Oliver approached the pond, his eyes scanning every inch for the slightest hint of movement. Meanwhile, Emily hurried back into the house, seeking safety. Disappointingly, the pond remained still and devoid of any signs of life.
Determined to uncover the mystery, Oliver searched the garden and spotted a sturdy stick lying nearby. With the stick in hand, he carefully prodded and stirred the water in the pond, hoping to reveal any hidden presence lurking beneath. Yet, no matter how much he agitated the water, it remained motionless, as if frozen in time.
