Wrinkles are often just a sign of aging. However one study published in The Journals of Gerontology found that high blood pressure can cause them. The study found that women with wrinkles in areas typically sheltered from the sun, like the upper arms, were more likely to have high blood pressure. If this is true for you, it may be time to talk to your doctor.
