On his Mohr Stories podcast, actor Jay Mohr shared a pretty heartbreaking story about working with Jennifer Aniston on the set of the 1997 rom-com, Picture Perfect. He described how unhappy she was to learn that he’d be playing her on-screen love interest.
Mohr told Elle in 2010 that Aniston’s behavior led him to frequently visit his mom’s house for a good cry.
According to Mohr, Aniston pointed directly at him on the first day of rehearsals and screamed right in his face, “You’ve got to be kidding me!…Six guys they screen-test! SIX…The one…guy I hate, that’s the guy they hire. HIM!” Aniston apparently never stopped bad-mouthing her costar. Ouch!
