Julia Roberts

For a good amount of her career, Academy Award-winner Julia Roberts was considered America’s Sweetheart. She catapulted to fame following her role in Pretty Woman, and continued capturing people’s hearts with her infectious smile.

But her agreeable image has slowly been shattered over the years as more and more Hollywood insiders come clean about her shady and nasty behavior behind cameras. When Steven Spielberg directed the 1991 Peter Pan adaptation Hook, he cast Roberts as Tinkerbell.

He wrote in his book Steven Spielberg: A Biography that the actress would lock herself in her trailer for hours on end. Then, she’d show up “ludicrously late” to set, and never apologized. She behaved so badly that crew members allegedly even nicknamed her “Tinkerhell.”
