Anjezë Gonxhe Bojaxhiu, of mother religion Thérèse, canonized by the Catholic Church under the name of Saint Thérèse of Calcutta, is an Albanian Catholic nun naturalized from India, missionary in India, Nobel Peace Prize in 1979.

Mother Teresa’s legacy will last for the rest of history, as her actions and inspiration as a nun and missionary have changed the lives of countless people. For this reason, she was beatified as a saint after her death in 1997. Of course, Mother Teresa was not married during her life and her career. After taking her vows in 1937, Mother Teresa accepted a life where she couldn’t even touch a man. It was her role to serve God and help those in the world, and that was her sole purpose.
