We know it’s silly to focus on irrational and unexplained details in a movie that’s literally about a man turning his home into a flying one just using balloons. But we can’t help but wonder about this one. Where did Russell come from?
Right before Carl takes off, Russell is nowhere to be seen. But then, as Carl steps out on the porch to enjoy the view from his now flying house – there Russell is, terrified, with his back to the wall.
