Jack Wants To Ride The Rollercoaster
Jack had big plans for his return to America, even though he had just won his tickets in a game of poker. When onboard the ship, he speaks longingly of what he plans to do once they arrive. He says he would like to ride the roller coaster at the Santa Monica pier, because who wouldn’t, right? Except this attraction didn’t even exist back in 1912.
The Blue Streak Racer roller coaster was built after carousel manufacturer Charles I.D. Looff purchased the land to build an amusement pier.
