A Slow Kind of Heartbreak
Ally and Mark used to spend all their time together. They used to laugh at silly things, and Ally had felt like she was on cloud nine when Mark walked into the room. But even though their relationship had started out that way, it wasn’t to last.
Over the years, Mark became more and more distant. He’d stay at work late, go out on the weekends. Ally felt trapped in her tiny house in the city. She knew they had to get out before their marriage crumbled further. So she made a big decision.
