Moving into a new house is a prime time to find something you need help identifying. There are plenty of reasons that you might come across something that you aren’t familiar with. For this person, that was this white box on their wall.
They described it as about seven feet off the ground and that they hadn’t found a use for it in three months. Yet, it also had a light switch that corresponded to it. This box is actually more likely a doorbell chime which they clarify doesn’t actually work.
