The Poolside – Reality
The pool on a cruise, like other facilities, depends a lot on the ship. It can be spectacular and exceed our expectations, or it can be rather small and unimpressive. Our real problem, as it turns out, isn’t with the pool, but with the other passengers on the ship.
We expect to have the pool all to ourselves, but that’s the first mistake. The sooner you realize you share the ship with other people, the better. Who knows, you might even make new friends if you give them a chance.
Did you think all those people from the boarding line would magically disappear the next day? They all want to enjoy the best attraction any ship has to offer – the pools – and more often than not, these pools aren’t really designed for hundreds of people.
