The Tours – Expectations
Okay, so the pool failed us, the casino failed us and even the drinks – our last resort – failed us. There’s still one more thing to look forward to – the tours!
Tours play a central role in any cruise – you’re not there to spend seven days on a ship but to see different destinations and enjoy as many experiences as you can in a short period of time. Every day or two the ship stops at a different port and allows the passengers to go down for a couple of hours, either for an arranged activity or some free time around the port, the city, or the island.
These trips often include hiking or snorkeling, and it’s supposed to be magical. However, once again, these tours are not always as incredible as they seem in the advertisement.
