The Tours – Reality
We’re just going to say it – tours on a cruise are always disappointing. They promise us magnificent butterfly farms and all we see are a number of butterflies flying around in a big cage. They promise us wine tasting and all we get is a glass of grape juice.
On some cruises the tours are better than others, but even then, getting to the daily destinations takes out all the fun. The passengers are transported from the ship in a coach ride that is almost always crowded and hot; there’s never air conditioning in that van, and if you weren’t already nauseated by the sea travel, this car ride ought to do the trick.
