The Tender – Expectations

via

If you’ve been on a cruise before, you might know that sometimes when stopping at shore, the ship can’t dock at the port, and so passengers are transported to shore in small groups by a smaller boat that’s attached to the ship. This boat is called a tender.

In our imagination – if you’ve never been on a cruise before – this tender would be a small, stylish (and most importantly, private) speedboat given to every passenger, and you would safely drive yourself to shore in a picture that looks like it was taken from Bay Watch. Prepare the hat and sunglasses!
