This colorful creature is an extremely dangerous species of stonefish that resides at the bottom of tidal pools in Northern Australia. It is found in the beaches and usually lays hidden among the rocks that are found by the sea-side or under the mud and sand. It is of a greenish-brown color that helps it to further camouflage or blend itself with the surroundings.
It has rows of sharp, venom-filled spines on its back. So, you should be careful, otherwise you might step on it.
